A whole new world.

If you've been reading, you know I've been having some interesting health things going on.

As a recap, I recently went to a holistic doctor in search of what was really off with me.

It's been a major wakeup call to say the least.

I have:

Candida (yeast overgrowth),

Hyperthyroidism,

low blood pressure,

adrenal insufficiency,

and,

estrogen dominance.

Well, the list goes on!

Last Saturday I returned to Dr. Thompson, (my really awesome D.O.), because my additional blood test results came back.

wah wah wahhhhh.

I knew going into the appointment that something was up because otherwise he would have just spoken to me over the phone.

In short, I have Hashimoto's Disease,

an "off the charts" gluten allergy,

and no testosterone.

YIPPEE!

NOT.

I'd be lying if I said, "It's okay, it's just a few small adjustments."

So instead I'm going to just be honest and say, THIS BLOWS!

I'll give you one word: overwhelmed.

Of course, I want to be healthy.

But, I didn't expect to pop pills...forever, and watch every little morsel I pop into my mouth...forever.

I know all of this could be so much worse.

I know I should be happy that I am catching all of this early in life.

I know that SO many people have these same issues.

I know that I'm probably being ridiculous.

But.

I feel overwhelmed.

You want the real me, right?

So, there.

I vented.

Here's my new world.

I will start breaking down each issue so keep reading for more.

My purpose for sharing so much is to help others and receive help from others.

Please don't pity me, this is LIFE.

I'm dedicated to sharing, even when it's uncomfortable.

:/

  3. At least you know what's going on now! It's not just an adjustment, but a lifestyle change, but once you get used to it I'm sure you won't stress and have to think twice...and maybe one more time...about it! I'm so glad that you have some answers! Sending well wishes for feeling better and feeling ON again! :)
