Kitchen inspiration!

Saddle up you design lovers!

Sh**s about to get CRAZY!

The best part about owning a house is being able to decorate it...

Although this will take a LONG time of saving and DIY projects, I've started the first step...building inspiration.

My style has really changed since you last saw our home HERE when I posted our love nest.

I've gone from vintage cottage to mid-century modern...I think.

Well, I've only "gone there" in my dreams obsessions; there's been no decorating whatsoever.

We've done nothing to transform our hand-me down furniture (that I'm still very thankful for) from basic to bangin'.

Since ALL our projects will be on a budget we will be using the same "stuff" but revamping and clamping to change the look.

And, YOU get to witness it!

Trust me the MVP is jazzed. {insert NOT here}

Our (my design his man labor) first project to tackle: the KITCHEN.

Our floor plan has an open-space concept so the kitchen flows to the dining and then to the living space.

Luckily, we can start with a blank canvas...I guess.

Nothing needs to be repaired and everything is very...basic.

An elderly couple lived in the home before so it's very well...dated.

Get the picture?

I'm okay with that because I get to start FRESH!

So...I'm sending your way my starting point inspiration!

Wanna play I spy?

I spy: white, gray, brown, modern, contemporary, traditional, OPEN SHELVING, subway tile, hanging pendants, rustic, accent colors, and much much more!

NOW, hold your horses.

Again, this is a start of my WANTS. I think.

Knowing my taste will change in about...two minutes.

I love these color combinations and the endless ideas of accent colors and designs you can pair with it.

ALSO, this is a starter home that we will outgrow.

Ideally, we would love to keep this home and use it as a rental so I have to keep that in mind.

Neutral, beautiful, and AWESOME is what I'm going for.

MVP, you ready???

Happy Thursday!

Ps: My first official day of school was yesterday. I'm POOPED but excited for a brand new adventure! Pictures to come :]
