Happy New Year to YOU!

I've written notes, drafts, and post-it notes for THIS specific post.

Nothing I had planned is written how I want it, so I'm just writing with little deletions and few decisions.

I don't want an empty post; this year was far too gracious to lack heart or substance.

As I, we, you, slip in to this new year, why enter lacking meaning or importance?

I refuse.

You should too.

I realized that as I was planning and preparing for this post, it was all about me me me.

I and you understand this is a personal lifestyle blog and my family, but,

there is so much more to 2012 than ME.

I'm so thankful for this past year and perhaps tomorrow, later this week, or never I will post my favorite moments of 2012. I don't feel there is anything wrong with sharing, clearly I do it routinely.

But for today, all I want to do is wish you a blessed New Year.

You see, I'm fascinated that every breathing being around the globe experienced some sort of joy, sorrow, fear, and excitement in 2012.

Guys, we all have a God who loves us...deeply and desperately.

Did you allow yourself to feel loved this year?

Did I?

Are you going to allow yourself to fully reflect on 2012 or wish it quickly behind you?

Let us all choose...I'll say it again...CHOOSE to learn from the joy, sorrow, fear, and excitement that WE ALL felt.

Let us look at this New Year with joy and excitement and pray for the times bringing fear and sorrow; for we know the inevitable.

Let us be gracious and attentive to detail!

Let us all build a firm foundation in loving others, sharing peace, and recognizing simplicity.

Are you in?

Have a BLESSED NEW YEAR from my growing family to yours,
