#31day October Writing Challenge >>> DAY 9!

It's hard for me NOT to post about food each day...I just love FOOD! 

Here's some funny foodie stuff I found on pinterest. 








Har Har Har. 

But really, I love food. 

As you know I've been sweatin' away in the kitchen lately. 
I've been inventing and mixing all sorts of flavors. 

Here's a YUMMY, healthy, and gluten-free breakfast I made yesterday! 


Apple Cinnamon Gluten-Free Oatmeal



Prep time: 1 min
Cook time: 7 min

Ingredients: 

GF Oats
Almond Milk
Sugar
Cinnamon
Apples
Coconut Oil
Butter
Stevia

Directions: 
Follow directions to cook oatmeal in the microwave using water. While cooking slice apples into thin chunks. On medium heat, heat about 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil. Saute apples with cinnamon and several dashes of raw sugar. Saute until apples soften. Add a pinky nail amount of real butter just for flavor. Add just enough almond milk to oatmeal to make a small pool on top. Add apples to oatmeal and sweeten oatmeal with stevia to your liking. 

ENJOY! 

It's amazing how much better food tastes when you put a teensy bit more effort. 
Sauteing the apples made it feel fancy yet it was SO easy. 
It was nourishing AND delicious! 
The balance of carbs and protein (almond milk) left me feeling full much longer. 
I love food, but I love TASTY healthy food the best.
